Care of Extend lashes

  • Please inform us if you are pregnant or have a medical condition so we can confirm your suitability for a treatment

24 Hours Prior

  • Do not wear waterproof mascara
  • If you have had a spray tan, ensure guide colour (bronzer) is washed off

On the day

  • Do not wear mascara
  • Do not have a spray tan
  • Avoid applying oily products on your lashes or around your eyes
  • Contact lenses must be removed prior to your treatment. For this reason, we recommend glasses are worn

Lash Extensions aftercare advice

  • Do not get lashes wet for the first 48 hours
  • Avoid steam, saunas and swimming for the first 48 hours
  • Avoid touching, rubbing or introducing foreign bodies or contaminants into the treatment area
  • Ensure lashes are not disturbed or manipulated into different positions (e.g., when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser/cosmetics)
  • Do not perm lashes or use lash curlers
  • Do not use waterproof mascara
  • Use oil-free makeup remover if mascara is worn

We recommend that lashes are washed daily with Nouveau Lashes Lash & Lid Foaming Cleanser to maintain optimum hygiene. To achieve the maximum results from your Nouveau Lashes treatment, it is essential that you follow the above aftercare advice. Failure to do so could lead to an adverse treatment outcome (e.g., irritation, swelling, lash-damage, etc.). If redness or irritation does occur, apply a damp cotton wool compress. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
